Joey joined CSCRB in 2018 as Director of Development & Chief Operating Officer and became Executive Director/CEO in December 2019. Joey has spent her entire career in the nonprofit sector, most recently as Executive Director of South Central Scholars, a college access and success organization supporting low-income students across Los Angeles County.
Nancy Lomibao, MS, LMFT
Program Director/Chief Clinical Officer
Nancy joined CSCRB in May 2014. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and earned her M.S. Degree in Marriage Family & Child Counseling in 1996 from California State University Dominguez Hills. She enjoys working with adults, teens, children and couples.
Judith K. Opdahl
Planned Giving & Legacy Gifts Officer
After attending programs and fighting Stage 4 cancer, Judith became more involved with the community to give back for the incredible resources and support that she received. Having cancer was a life-changing time for her career and in 1994, she became the Executive Director/CEO of our organization. After nearly 25 years in this position, she is now part-time on staff as Director of Legacy and Planned Gifts and building our Legacy of Hope Society with donors who wish to leave a gift to support the organization’s future.
Public Relations Director
Theresa joined CSCRB in 2010 after a good friend was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her passion for her work was further fueled by the loss of her father and stepfather to lung cancer. She started as the Public Relations-Outreach Manager and assumed the position of Public Relations Director in 2015. Theresa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University Long Beach. She enjoys working with the local media as well as the medical and non-medical communities throughout the South Bay and surrounding areas to spread the word about Cancer Support Community’s many free programs, services and fundraising events.
Director of Development
Jackie joined CSCRB in Feb 2020 as Director of Development. Jackie brings an extensive 20-year background in sales and marketing with a large Fortune 500 company to the role. In addition, she previously served as a volunteer and chairperson for the Sandpipers Organization, providing support to many local Southbay charities.
Jackie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from The University of Arizona. She is a current member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Palos Verdes Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.
Kelly’s passion for creativity and design have shaped her notable success as an events manager in the South Bay. Her gifts of organization, imagination and enthusiasm help create unique and memorable moments. Living and raising her family in Redondo Beach for the past 20 years, Kelly has a true love for the beach and the South Bay vibe. In 2019, Kelly joined the Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach, giving her the perfect outlet to apply her event planning and management talents towards making a difference in the lives of those fighting cancer in her community.
